Acne Treatment Gels
Acne is the familiar skin disorder that affects people of any
age, thus it is among the most dreaded skin inflammation. For
this reason, various questions are posed to address this
condition like: What are considered to be the best ways to fight
acne? What medications can help in alleviating acne?
In actuality, and in consideration of the above-mentioned
queries, there are various treatments available in the market
today such as herbal remedies or OTC (over-the-counter)
treatments. OTC treatments have two varieties -- topical (skin
application) and internal (taken internally) treatments. In some
cases, both options are recommended by dermatologists. Topical
treatments are further classified into categories. There are
creams, gels, lotions, and solutions and there are some
well-known products available today that can help in controlling
acne like Benzoyl Peroxide, Retinoid, Salicylic Acid,
Isotretinoin, and Anti-Androgens. However, using acne treatment
gels have also become quite popular in eliminating acne. These
gel treatments are available in different concentration
percentage. Some acne treatment gels include Kiss My Face Break
Out Acne Gel, Clinac O.C. Facial Oil, Clearasil Overnight Acne
Defense Gel, Neutrogena Clear Pore Treatment, ZAPZYT Maximum
Strength 10% Benzoyl Peroxide Acne Treatment Gel, and Neutrogena
RapidClear Acne Eliminating Gel.
Several other acne gels have been discovered to prevent acne. In
a study in Singapore, 10 grams of Pantothenic Acid, which is
divided equally in four doses, is given each day to acne
patients. Sufferers were also asked to apply Panthothenic Cream
or Gel to the affected area. After a couple of days, a
remarkable reduction in sebum or oil was observed. Eventually,
after two weeks, a visibly significant improvement in the
condition of acne was noticed.
